Students for High-Impact Charity (shicschools.org) is about exploring the most important questions facing humanity and figuring out the very best way to solve some of the world’s biggest problems. SHIC is a program that any student can run in their University. We help students who are looking for ways to have a positive impact on the world create the highest impact possible in important areas by providing the tools, training, and support to do so.
The program covers everything from world poverty and animal welfare, to the environment, to catastrophic risks like nuclear war and artificial intelligence. SHIC is about leveling up your impact to do the most good possible .
We’ve created the material. We’re just looking for motivated student leaders to present it to your peers. You can do this in an existing club, or start a new club. We have 6 levels for you to try out in our introductory program, and more levels in the advanced program if you want to delve deeper.
