Sponsorship is key to non-profit organizations. Here at the American Cancer Society, we are grateful to each sponsor who make our events possible and drive home our mission. The Funding Lead will develop strategies to reach out to potential sponsors. This person will act as the point person for growth and partnership opportunities with local organizations who want to support the ACS. This person will also help ensure that sponsors get credit for their great contribution.
Responsibilities include:
Identifies and develops relationships with prospective sponsors in the area
Drives sponsorship in preparation for annual ACS events
Able to articulate the mission and impact of funding to the American Cancer Society
Works with team to ensure successful completion of sponsorship management
Reports to Events Lead Specialist and Community manager; liaise between broader team and coordinators

- Mission and ACS CAN
