Experience Lead (Events) - develop the experience of relay for life, including pre and post events

We have several events coming up in the year, including our capstone Relay for Life event. This is a great leadership opportunity for those who enjoy event planning and operations. This person would liaise between the broader team and the Events Lead Specialist. The ideal candidate would report on the logistics and planning of the event. He or she would lead and manage the planning and execution of the events with the help of the greater team.

Events scheduled for the year include:

- Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival

- Kendra Scott Gives Back

- Relay for Life Walk

• After Party

- Franklin Witches Ride

Responsibilities include:

- Managing and recruiting a team to cover planning, logistics, execution, and day-of duties

- Recruiting volunteers to help with set up and clean-up of the event

- Liaise with internal team and Events lead specialist to ensure that goals align

- Meet bi-monthly with Events Lead Specialist to give status updates

- Identify and resolve any potential issues prohibiting execution of events

- Work with People lead to recruit necessary help in execution

- Consider business development and growth opportunities for events in subsequent years
