Help Cleveland Ripley inform and educate Pasadena voters about this 2017 Pasadena Election and make a positive impact. We will be calling voters to remind them to vote and inform them of dates and locations they can vote this May 6th, 2017. Your help is essential to making difference in this local election, where every vote has significant impact.
Through our Voter Empowerment Phone Banks, agency staff and volunteers like you will be speaking to voters by calling a specific list of voters in our neighborhood by making phone calls at our Cleveland Rilpley Community Center. You will be handed a script and all election information in order to call voters in our neighborhood who may need information about where and when they can vote this upcoming election.
Agency staff will provide instructions and training before being assigned a list of neighborhood to call and make a positive impact.

Description
BakerRipley has a rich history in building communities that work since its early days when it was part of the Settlement House movement in the early 1900′s. When Alice Graham Baker founded the agency in 1907, the main intention behind it all was to help every resident of Houston have an opportunity for an education, for health, for work, and to become an informed participant in democracy.
100 years later, the purpose of BakerRipley hasn’t changed one bit.
What makes Houston so great are our vibrant and dynamic neighborhoods - the true engines of any metro. We believe that neighborhoods are the bridges between individuals and the regional economy. When we strengthen underserved neighborhoods, we can see how the quality of life is raised for everyone not just in that community, but the entire region.
