Faces of Hope

Under the direction of the Director of Individual & Business Engagement, the Event Planning Intern will coordinate various projects assigned by the Organizational Advancement department. Responsibilities include assisting in the planning and coordination of Lifetrack’s annual Faces of Hope Breakfast fundraising event, and the Annual Work-Life Expo.

The Intern with assist with:

  • Planning and coordinating Faces of Hope Breakfast fundraising event
  • Communications around event management including timelines, calendars, reports, and diagrams
  • Onsite event management and set-up
  • Providing support to the Director of Communications pertaining to event planning
  • Communication with table hosts and attendees pertaining to event information
  • Data entry
  • Managing RSVP list
  • Answering and making phone calls
  • Social Media outreach

The internship will be for the summer June-August or through October, depending on your preference/availability. 10-20 hours per week desired. Lifetrack's business hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. Flexible schedules are available during our business hours.

Description

We focus on two areas:

  • Child & Family Success - We serve 1,300 children annually who are at risk of developmental delays and educational failure due to poverty, disability and/or exposure to trauma/violence. We provide 3,400 children and adults therapeutic services and resources. Additionally, over 35,000 working adults seek our educational resources to learn how to balance work and family.
  • Employment & Economic Opportunity - Each year we serve 1,300 adults as they find, keep and advance in their employment. Our comprehensive approach includes ongoing employment support to ensure individuals retain jobs by learning soft skills necessary in a complex work environment. Our largest and most specialized services are geared toward immigrants and refugees and individuals with disabilities.
