Be a summer teaching Intern for Washington Park Youth Enrichment Program. During the summer months we serve over 100 youth.
Students spend the first half of the day in the classroom learning material for the next grade. The second half of the day is spent with students doing, art, dance, sports, and urban agriculture.
College credit for internships and community service hours can be given to students who stay on for the duration of the summer.

Washington Park Youth Enrichment Program aims to provide a holistic appreciation of life and education to youth through social-emotional development, experiential and technological learning, and exposure to various cultures, and the arts.
Description
Washington Park Youth Enrichment Program (WPYEP) is a STEM based after-school program.
We serve children primarily from the Washington Park and West Woodlawn communities. Many of our students reside with the 60637 and 60621 zip-codes. During the summer months we serve over 100 youth and in the fall 75 students are admitted into our after-school program
