As the summer approaches, it’s time for the organizations of Billerica to come together as we continue to make our wonderful community clean for everyone to enjoy. For the past few years our Town has run an event called Clean Up Green Up and will be hosting this event again this year on May 6 th 2017 from 8:30-2:00pm. We are seeking businesses to volunteer to aid in the beautification of our parks, common areas or even just the area around your own organization.

For over a decade, this spring time event has provided an opportunity for companies in Billerica to help the Town recover from the harsh effects of winter and prepare for a colorful spring and summer. Each year groups register to clear debris and trash from designated areas and plant flowers at Town buildings, parks, playgrounds, commons and public islands. Clean up projects could include picking up the litter in parks and playgrounds or along the roadside, in front of houses, or around your company’s grounds.

If you are unable to participate in the Clean Up Green Up, donations are always accepted to push our cause to the next level.
