Volunteers will need to fill out a volunteer release form in order to particiapte. Anyone under 18 years of age will need to have a parent or gaurdian sign.

Join us on Saturday, April 29, to celebrate National Volunteer Week by participating in our third annual It’s My Park and Trail Day. We will be hosting park clean up projects at participating parks across Raleigh. These are the parks to choose from:

  • Marsh Creek Park - 3050 N New Hope Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604
  • Lions Park - 516 Dennis Ave, Raleigh, NC 27604
  • Spring Forest Road Park - 4203 Spring Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27616
  • Biltmore Hills Park - 2615 Fitzgerald Dr, Raleigh, NC 27610
  • Sanderford Road Park - 2623 Sanderford Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610
  • Peach Road Park - 911 Ileagnes Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603
  • Laurel Hills Park - 3808 Edwards Mill Rd, Raleigh, NC 27612
  • Method Community Park - 514 Method Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607
  • Millbrook Exchange Park - 1905 Spring Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615
  • Optimist Park - 5900 Whittier Dr, Raleigh, NC 27609

If you are interested in cleaning up a park or trail not listed above, please let us know and we can work to coordinate a non-supervised park or trail clean-up.

Per department policies, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed community service hours
