**TO REGISTER AS A VOLUNTEER YOU MUST CONTACT MARY OWENS AT mary.owens@raleighnc.gov or 919-996-3292. Please send her your name, email address, phone number, number of volunteers, and location you are interested in**
Volunteers will need to fill out a volunteer release form in order to particiapte. Anyone under 18 years of age will need to have a parent or gaurdian sign.
Join us on Saturday, April 29, to celebrate National Volunteer Week by participating in our third annual It’s My Park and Trail Day. We will be hosting park clean up projects at participating parks across Raleigh. These are the parks to choose from:
- Sanderford Road Park - 2623 Sanderford Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610
- Peach Road Park - 911 Ileagnes Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603
If you are interested in cleaning up a park or trail not listed above, please let us know and we can work to coordinate a non-supervised park or trail clean-up.
Per department policies, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed community service hours
