April 8th Egg Hunts (Multiple Locations)

There are multiple volunteer opportunities to chose from for April 8th:

Breakfast with the Bunny - 9 am - 11:30 am

• Location: Laurel Hills Community Center 3808 Edwards Mill Rd, Raleigh, NC 27612
• Age Requirement: 16+
• Event Description: Hop on over to Laurel Hills for breakfast with the Bunny which will include light refreshments, family games and a chance to take your picture with the Bunny. Volunteers will help with set up and breakdown for event, assist with games and interact with families.

Great Egg Scramble - 9 am - 12 pm

• Location: Brier Creek Community Center 10810 Globe Road
• Raleigh, NC 27617
• Age Requirement: 14+ Any volunteer under the age of 16 will need a parent/guardian to accompany them.
• Event Description: There will be a light breakfast with Bunny, "Make It Take It Crafts", and egg hunt. Pre-event activities start at 10:00 am and the Egg Hunts start at 11:00 am sharp! Volunteers are needed from 9am-12pm for event set-up, serving refreshments, assisting with kids craft projects, hiding eggs, and event take-down.

Egg Hunt at Chavis Park - 9:30 am - 3 pm

• Location: Chavis Park505 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27601
• Age Requirement: 16+
• Event Description: Join us on Saturday, April 8th at Chavis Park for the annual Egg Hunt! Volunteers are needed from 9:30 am-3:00 pm to assist with event set up/clean up, child games and activities, and interacting with child participants.

Egg Hunt at Abbott's Creek -9:30 am - 12:30 pm

• Location: Abbotts Creek Community Center 9950 Durant Rd. Raleigh, NC 27614
• Age Requirement: 15+
• Event Description: Join us on Saturday, April 8th at Abbott's Creek for the annual Egg Hunt! Volunteers are needed from 9:30am-12:30pm to assist with event set up/clean up, hiding eggs, child games and activities, and interacting with child participants.

All volunteers must fill out a release form. Anyone under 18 years of age will need to have their parent or guardian sign the form as well. These will be sent out prior to the event.

Per department policy this volunteer opportunity cannot count towards court-appointed community service hours.
