Although many fan recipients come in person to any of our 42 distribution sites, some homebound individuals are unable to personally pick them up. For these, we need volunteers who are willing to drive to their homes and deliver fans. This opportunity can be a one-time group effort, or an ongoing event throughout the summer, and is completely based on availability of both requests and volunteers. We typically have anywhere from 5-20 fans needing delivered a week! Must be 18 or older and have your own transportation.

Description
Family Eldercare is a nonprofit agency that has been providing services to older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers in the Austin, Texas area since 1982. Programs and services include: housing and stability, in-home counseling, guardianship, virtual activities for isolated older adults, service coordination, and our annual summer fan drive.
