Food Donations and Supplies Needed

Each Sunday volunteers gather at the Beargrass Christian Church to prepare a hot meal, make sack lunches, assemble food boxes and gather supplies to be delivered to the indigent and homeless population around our city. Fed with Faith is run solely on donations and current needs are as follows:

Non-perishable food such as canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned meat & poultry, soup, ravioli/spaghetti-os, ramen noodles, macaroni & cheese, pasta, pasta sauce, rice, beans, peanut butter & jelly, cereal, oatmeal, fruit cups, applesauce, granola bars, individually packed food items such as cheese & crackers, nuts, trail mix, dried fruit, chips, cookies, fruit snacks, beef jerky, tuna kits or pull-top canned meat, fruit or vegetables, pudding cups, baby food & formula, cases of water.

Non-food items: bug spray, flip flops, socks, blankets, sunscreen, chap-stick, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, soap/body wash, toothbrush, dental floss, deodorant, q-tips, individually packaged laundry soap, disposable razors, anti-bacterial wipes, feminine hygiene products, hairbrush/comb, tents, tarps, sleeping bags, batteries, flashlights, sternos, band-aids, neosporin, ibuprofen, Ziploc bags (sandwich, quart & gallon), diapers and baby wipes, backpacks

Donations can be dropped off to Beargrass Christian Church M-F from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm and Sunday 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
