Imagine Housing’s annual Gala & Auction raises over $500,000 to provide permanent, affordable housing and services to low-income and vulnerable people on the Eastside, and we rely on volunteers to make it a success! Please join us Saturday, October 3rd at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue.

Due to the nature of this event, all volunteers must be 21+

Registration & Cashiering
Volunteers needed: 10
These are the first faces our guests see. This team checks everyone in, enters credit card information and provides pertinent information to our guests. This integral group ensures everyone feels welcome, pays, and enjoys the evening!

Raffle
Volunteers needed: 9
One of the most outgoing roles at the Auction! Working in pairs, raffle volunteers will move throughout the Reception selling raffle tickets to give guests a chance to win one of the best of live auction items. Volunteers must be 18+.

Wall of Wine
Volunteers needed: 9
Another outgoing role at the Auction! Volunteers will move throughout the Reception selling cards for bottles of wine. The guests match their playing card to the bottle located on the wine wall. Volunteers must be 18+ and comfortable working on an iPad.

Dessert Frenzy
Volunteers needed: 4
These volunteers team up to show off each dessert on stage while the auctioneer sells them to the highest bidder, then tag the desserts with the winning table number and carefully turn them over to Meydenbauer staff.

Silent Auction Bidding Support
Volunteers needed: 4
This team will be stationed throughout the Lobby and Reception area with tablets to assist bidders who need help with mobile bidding. You will receive training on the mobile bidding website. This is a people-facing, high-energy and busy role! Customer service skills are a plus.

Live Auction Recorders
Volunteers needed: 4
During the Dessert Frenzy and Live Auction, these volunteers will track bids, complete winning bid sheets, and maintain sales records throughout the night. This demanding but exciting role requires concentration, sharp ears and eyes, and neat handwriting!

Live Auction Runners
Volunteers needed: 6
During the Live Auction, runners will participate in the Dessert Frenzy and Heads or Tails to collect papers from guests so recorders can enter it into the system. This role will have you up and moving for most of the night and is a great way to get your 10,000 steps in!

Live Auction Spotters
Volunteers needed: 6
Outgoing and energetic volunteers needed to support our auctioneer! Spot the bids and encourage guest participation. You’ll be on your feet throughout the Live Auction and Special Appeal, helping the auctioneer see all corners of the room.

Live Auction Models
Volunteers needed: 2
These volunteers must be willing to make a statement and love the spotlight! Present on stage the live auction items available. Must be fun, love to be on stage and can excel at engaging the crowd!

Item Collection
Volunteers needed: 8
After the Silent Auction closes, these volunteers set up the Auction Item retrieval area and assist guests with collecting their items at checkout. These volunteers have a strong attention to detail and have excellent customer service skills.

Videographer
Volunteers needed: 1
Volunteer your time and talents to help us capture footage of the event throughout the evening. Volunteer must have experience filming high-paced events, be comfortable shooting indoors in low light, and bring their own camera and equipment.
