Mission Statement
Our mission is to aid and develop programs that will alleviate poverty and the suffering associated with poverty both in the United States and worldwide, in particular, that experienced by women and children.
Description
The Forgotten International works to bring together people in the world who have great resources with people who have great needs. We provide those with means a way to contribute globally and encourage compassion. As a result, those in need are given the gift of hope, while those who help are given the gift of knowing that the world has been made better through their kindness and compassion.
The primary ways we help are:
*Small grants to targeted programs that work with the poorest of the poor.
*Fellowship opportunities whereby we send skilled volunteers to work with grassroots organizations around the world.
*Educational and vocational scholarships, primarily to women and children in developing countries.
*Deliveries of needed goods and supplies to impoverished areas.
