CROSO provides post-secondary scholarships to former street children in Uganda. Because our Scholars are all former street children, our scholarships cover more than tuition. We also provide housing, food, supplies, transportation and a laptop for each Scholar. We also pair each Scholar with a Liaison (mentor) who communicates monthly.
CROSO is based in the Chicago-land area and has several committees that help us accomplish our goals. It is the job of the Scholar Support Committee to create a plan that will guide communication with the current scholars, communication with our partner organization in Uganda regarding the scholars and oversee the Liaison program.
