Surfs up dudes!

Love the beach?- yea

Love dogs?- for sure, dude.

We are in need of at least 30 volunteers to help put on a bitchn' dog walk event at the Easter PRO/AM surf competition. We'll have dogs walking the beach and dogs surfing. We need volunteers to help set-up the dog zone, monitor beach access points, assist guests, provide surfing lessons, and various other activities.
We are looking for 30 volunteers so people are able to enjoy the event and help assist- so we ask volunteers to donate 3 hours, but we can be flexible. You can stay longer or shorter, as long as we have the right people in the right positions.

The event will be between 8am-5pm- times may vary, but for now, that's what were projecting as available volunteering hours.

All funds raised by our volunteers and dogs go towards the Brevard Humane Society. We want to put on the most radical dog beach event in Cocoa Beach. If you think you can help us make it most-spectacular, then let us know.

Thanks-

About Central Brevard Humane Society

Location:

1020 Cox Rd, Cocoa, FL 32926, US

Mission Statement

The Central Brevard Humane Society provides animal welfare shelter and programs that foster a humane ethic toward all animals. We also strive to deepen the community's commitment to spaying and neutering, as well as the adoption of homeless companion animals. We believe this to be essential to achieving our purpose of humane care and treatment of all animals.

Description

The Central Brevard Humane Society has served the Brevard Community for more than 50 years, making it the oldest animal welfare organization in Brevard County

Until 1952 Brevard County had no real support for lost pets and homeless animals. In August of that year, a group of animal lovers got together and the Central Brevard Humane Society was born.

Today, the shelter is open seven days a week to help lost pets find their owners and homeless animals find loving homes.

Using donations from the community, over 6,000 dogs, cats, kittens, puppies and other animals are cared for each year.
