The museum, run completely by volunteers, has exhibits about businessas and industries in our community, working vintage machinery and demonstrations provided by museum guides. Highlights include a working 1893 stationary steam engine and line shaft operating 8 machines, a 1961 Brusnwick Bowling Automatic Pin Setter, a print shop and many exhibits about the industries that made Muskegon a world class manufacturing center. Exhibits are being added and changed regularly as new information is found and artifactis are given to the museum. During the season, the musuem is open Thursday-Saturday and then by appointment throughout the year. Tours and school groups are welcome. Our goal is to presere and share the stories of the many industries in our community and to provide an interesting way for everyone in the community to learn about our industrial past and present.
