Assist our Adult Learners who have not yet completed high school. Marillac St. Vincent offers adult basic education and pre-GED assistance. Our adult education program is designed to meet individual needs.
Responsibilites include (but not limited to):
- Encourage and support adult learners by helping them develop confidence and a positive attitude about learning.
- Supporting them and praising them for their efforts rather than criticizing them
- Selecting materials and approaches that are suitable for the adult learners’ ability and needs
This is a long-term commitment.

Description
Marillac St. Vincent Family Services has been working to end the cycle of poverty and violence in the city of Chicago for over 100 years. Sponsored by the Daughters of Charity, we provide quality child care, early childhood education, after-school programs, support for pregnant teens, comprehensive services for isolated seniors, and outreach to at-risk families and individuals.
