Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Chattahoochee Valley is a youth mentoring organization that provides free one-to-one mentoring for the children in our community. We are always looking for volunteers to be mentors in our community. It is because of our volunteers that makes Big Brothers Big Sisters successful in our endeavors to change the lives of the children for the better.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is a great organization to give back to our community by mentoring children . Not only does the mentoring experience have a positive effect on the children, but our volunteers find the mentoring experience rewarding for themselves personally.

Description
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is the oldest mentoring program around with over 110 years of service with approximately 300 agencies nationally and internationally. We provide free one-to-one mentoring for children in the community. We match children with a volunteer also known as a Big Brother or a Big Sister based on the gender of the child. We ask that our Big Brothers and Big Sisters spend at least 8 hours a month with the Little. We encourage the Bigs to incorporate the Little’s hobbies as well as their own into fun inexpensive activities.
