WE ARE SO EXCITED TO MEET YOU!
Thank you for deciding to volunteer for Zoo, Brews: Drafts at a Distance at the Birmingham Zoo, there is no way we could pull off this event without each and every one of you! Please remember this is a 21 and up event so all volunteers must be at least 21 and they are not permitted to bring anyone under 21 with them to their shift. Below we have some general information for the day of, that I believe may be helpful. We are very excited to see you on Friday!!!

Time: 4pm-8:30pm
Location: The Birmingham Zoo, 2630 Cahaba Rd. Birmingham, AL 35223
WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR VOLUNTEER SHIFT?
Please bring proof of identity so that we can verify you’re above the age of 21. The following items will be accepted:
Driver’s License

A face mask is required (if you do not have one already, one will be issued to you)
ATTIRE FOR YOUR VOLUNTEER SHIFT: Please dress modestly and appropriately for the weather, if you choose to wear shorts please make sure they are more than three inches above the knee. I would also suggest wearing comfortable shoes.
If you are an internal volunteer who has a Zoo Uniform & Name Tag please wear that for the event.
WHAT NOT TO BRING TO YOUR VOLUNTEER SHIFT? Please note, the Zoo is not responsible for any damage to volunteers’ personal belongings. For that reason, I would not suggest bringing anything valuable to the zoo for your shift.
MEETING LOCATION: Check-in for volunteers will be held near the former front entrance which now has become the zoo exit during our re-opening. This is located to the right of the New Front Entry.
WHERE TO PARK? Please park towards the back of the parking lot in order to give our event guests priority parking.
