The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. As this natural disaster unfolds, the staff here at VolunteerMatch is doing its part to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you are prepared and safe. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know about the most effective ways to contribute.
Help Cooking Matters Colorado to end hunger by teaching Colorado families budget-friendly, nutritious, easy meals. Working along with a nutrition professional, you will teach families various cooking, safety, food-budgeting techniques, while building their confidence through in-class practice. Through your teaching, families learn how to feed their families the most nutritious, well-balanced meals for their buck!
Volunteers work in the community, rather than one central location. There are opportunities all over the Denver Metro area, and likely near you!
