Seven times a day in the U.S., someone dies in a home fire. Spend a few hours on Saturday and help save lives.

Come volunteer with the American Red Cross as we work with Friendship West Church to install free smoke alarms in at risk homes. We are seeking 15 volunteers to work in teams to help install smoke detectors, inform home owners about fire safety and document the installations. Your efforts will help families for years to come!

This event will take place on Saturday, April 8th from 8:30am-1pm. We will gather at 616 West Kiest Blvd. Dallas, TX 75224. You will recieve instructions and team assignments. Please wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking through the neighborhood.
Participants under 18 will need a signed parental consent form: parental consent . Participants under 16 will need also need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
