Seeking a volunteer(s) to identify and coordinate exhibitors for our 2nd Annual Because We Care Health Fair. This health fair is for emergency medical services (EMS), trauma care, and other related healthcare professionals to support their personal health and wellness. The health fair is a special event held during our 17th Annual EMS Odyssey (education) Conference on June 1-2. 2017, which attracts over 250 participants including EMTs, nurses, paramedics, and other related healthcare professionals. This event will be held in Phoenix, AZ.
As our volunteer Health Care Coordinator, you will help identify and contact prospective exhibitor representatives whom may be interested in sharing information about their services, wares, and other resources during the Because We Care Health Fair. Prospective exhibitors are businesses or organizations that provide products or services for health and wellness including: yoga, aromatherapy, acupuncture, gyms/fitness, nutrition, massage, self-defense, etc.,.
Specific tasks include: reseraching prospective exhibitors on the web; identifying prospective exhibitor representatives and contacting them to learn more about their services, wares, and resources; sharing information about Arizona Emergency Medical Systems (AEMS) and our Because We Care Health Fair with these representatives; sending follow up infomation about the Because We Care Health Fair to the prospective exhibitor representatives.
Optional volunteer task: assisting (in person) with the Because We Care Health Fair on June 1-2. 2017.

Description
Arizona Emergency Medical Systems, Inc. (AEMS), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is a community-based, volunteer organization dedicated to improving emergency medical services (EMS) and trauma care for the Central Arizona region (which includes Maricopa, Pinal, and Gila counties).
Since 1974, AEMS has been bringing together physicians, nurses, hospital administrators, EMTs, paramedics, and other first responders to ensure that emergency medical care is delivered in a coordinated manner, and moreover, that it is meeting the needs of the public. Through our collaborative and cooperative education, training, and advocacy, programs, we are and will continue contributing to the greater quality of emergency medical and trauma care for our central Arizona communities.
