Volunteers can choose any day to help us at GCCS.

The following times depicts where we need help Monday thru Friday.

Read to children in the library: choose 1 hour per week, Mon-Fri, 11:30 am -12:30 pm

Breakfast helper: 7:30 am

Lunch helper: 11:00 am -12:45 pm

Mentor a child from the grade levels; 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. Once per week

Recess helper: 10:50 am - 12:10 pm

Count-on-Me partner: collect coins with a student. Once per month

Mission Statement

The mission of GCCS is to provide a firm Christian foundation in the educational and spiritual life of children in the Gardere neighborhood, encouraging them to grow into and become the person God created them to be.

Description

Our Executive Director/Principal is the leader ofthe school and its vision. Our faculty of talented, skilled, creative, committed educators who teach the students with God's love and inspiratioin, and help them to rise to new challenges. Our staff handles multitude of tasks that working with students, families and the Gardere community requires. Our volunteers help care for and mentor the children, as well as their families, and implement our many extracurricular and social programs. Our board of directors use their talents and gifts to help uphold and advance the vision and missio. Our prayer warriors diligently pray for our school's mission and work.
