VOLUNTEER NEEDED
Seeking an un-paid volunteer for GlobalGirl Media, a nonprofit initiative that trains girls in developing countries and under-served US communities in new media citizen journalism.
We need volunteers to help with the editing our mailing and contact list.
Your skills:
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Applications (word, excel)
- Experience and knowledge of mailing list management
- High attention to detail
- Research skills
- Ability to work with well with others
- Confidentiality
- Bonus: working knowledge of Salesforce
This is a great opportunity to learn how nonprofits work and support girls across the world. You will work directly with the LA Program Director, as GGM's digital consultant and office manager.

Description
GLOBAL GIRL MEDIA (GGM) seeks to address this "gender digital divide" by supplying the equipment, education and support necessary to help young women create up-loadable, short-format videos that can bring awareness of their specific needs and lives to the broader web and social media community, while at the same time play a strategic role in improving their situation. We firmly believe that working with young women around the world to find and share their authentic voice is an investment in our global future.
