We had such a Pawesome time the first time we decided to bring the event back. One day only April 22nd we will be partying with the Paw Patrol Characters.
We have various volunteer opportunities. Time slots for visitors are spaced throughout the day, with a break between each one. Come all day or just for a bit we would love your help.
MASCOTS -- we need people between 5'5" and 6'0" to wear the costumes. Pretty easy, just pose with kids and wave and hug and make sure you don't take your head off and frighten the children.
HANDLERS -- these are the people who will be sort of directing the kids, helping maybe to take photos, stamping the autograph book for the kids, etc. We have a small activity set up with each of the mascots so making sure that is running smoothly, stocked. etc.
TICKETS -- self-explanatory -- taking the tickets at the front. After all tickets have been done, will sort of be monitoring other stations, making sure all is running smoothly, etc.
RUNNERS -- these will be the people helping ticket salespeople, any questions for the handlers, checking to make sure all is stocked, bathrooms are okay, etc.
MUSEUM TABLE -- this will be where we will be set up with a table talking about the museum, showing off our latest numbers, slides, donation opportunities. Any questions for people that they have. Ideally at least one board member here for each session.
ACTIVITY STATIONS-- These will be the people helping to make sure the activities are going smoothly and helping with any "restocking" of materials or resetting of the games, giving a hand when needed.

Description
Our vision is to become a community resource in early childhood learning and development for kids from birth to seven years, with a special emphasis on children age three to five years old, by creating a space that is interactive, engaging, and safe for children and families.
Background on Mighty Children’s Museum
We started out as three moms with a passion for giving our children and the children in our community the best possible opportunities. Seeing what other small towns all over the country have done to enrich the lives of their young ones through children’s museums inspired us to start out on a path to open one ourselves. We soon grew to five moms and two dads on the board of directors. We are a passionate group that wants great things for our children and our city.
We are currently in our final stages of our initial fundraising campaign and hope to open in mid-late summer of 2017. Once open we will be staffed by volunteers. Volunteers should enjoy children.
