Family Promise (www.familypromiseofgreaterdenver.org) needs volunteers to cover the following positions at Calvary Baptist Church during the last week of April:
* Overnight Host - 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
* Van Drivers - 6:45-7:45 a.m. and 4:45-5:45 p.m.
Overnight Hosts have their own room or space and don’t have to stay awake, but are a volunteer presence overnight at the church. In the morning they make sure the families are up and ready to leave the church by 7 am. There are two Overnight Hosts each night.
Van Drivers help to transport families between the Calvary Baptist and our Day Site (near 6 th and Sante Fe, in Denver).

Description
Family Promise of Greater Denver provides shelter, meals, rental assistance, and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness in the Denver area. We also work with families on employment, long-term housing solutions and other goals to ensure self-sufficiency and a brighter future.
Family Promise of Greater Denver began serving homeless families in 1997 and is part of a national network of 180+ affiliates. Since our founding, we’ve helped more than 1,000 families, including 1,900 children. Today, an average of 70% of families leave with housing and 85% of adults secure employment while they’re in the program!
