Piedmont Environmental Alliance is looking for volunteers to help host the 12th annual Piedmont Earth Day Fair on Saturday, April 22 at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. This year, the Piedmont Earth Day Fair celebrates water with the theme "Every Drop Counts."
The Piedmont Earth Day Fair is the largest Earth Day celebration in the region and would not be possible without the support of our incredible volunteers!
Each volunteer receives a free Earth Day Fair tshirt as well as free food and drinks at the volunteer booth. The hours of the Fair are 10 AM to 5 PM. Volunteers are needed in shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. Shifts are typically 3 hours long. Also, we need some volunteers to help set up Friday afternoon, the day before the event.

PEA promotes environmental stewardship through practical life applications to a broad cross-section of the community. We showcase and promote a wide range of local environmentally-conscious businesses and organizations. We also facilitate networking opportunities for the region's many environmental organizations and programs, leaders in the local sustainability movement, and environmentally-minded individuals. Through events such as the Piedmont Earth Day Fair and our quarterly Environmental Exchanges, we extend environmental training, services and expertise to the broader community.
