THE LEGACY CONSORTIUM (TLC) is a non-profit organization that provides mental health services to the Atlanta community with the goal of building strong youth, young adults and families. We offer:

  1. Relationship Restoration Programs
  2. Marital & Pre-Marital Counseling
  3. Parenting Skills Training
  4. Family conflict resolution
  5. Relationship restoration through 12-week family counseling program and curriculum
  6. Family Relationship Conferences
  7. Adolescent counseling
  8. Trauma counseling for victims of sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation
  9. Play Therapy for children

We need scheduling coordinators to interact with the community by phone and manage scheduling for the mental health counselors and for the organization as a whole. This volunteer will speak with patients, answer questions, set appointments, and communicate regularly with counselors about their schedules. We also need assistance managing community workshop scheduling, online registration, and answering questions from registrants. This indivdiual would talk regularly with counselors and the center director to streaming client interaction and scheduling processes.

  • Parents who identify that their children are struggling with behavioral and emotional issues and realize they need help learning how to manage them and have positive outcomes
  • Parents and children who struggle in the parent-child relationship and who desire to make the relationships stronger.
  • Couples who desire peace, not conflict in their marriage
  • Youth and young adults who desire to learn skills for healthy interpersonal interactions and growth in family relationship development skills, leadership skills, peer and intimate relationships skills, mental health and emotional stability, and healthy leisure activity
