We distribute lunches to the homeless at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday though Friday, 8:00 am to 9:30 am, or until we run out of lunches.

Mission Statement

The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament established the Brown Bag Lunch Program in August 2013, in response to the growing numbers of downtown homeless needing food, nourishment, and kind words.

Description

Everyday our ministry feeds up to 200 homeless men and women from the downtown Sacramento area. Our goal is to prepare and distribute a nutricious brown bag lunch consisting of a protein, a fruit, a healthy carb and a fun carb, and I bottle of water.

We are open and distribute lunches Tuesday - Friday, from 8:00 am - 9:00 am.
