We distribute lunches to the downtown Sacramento homeless community from in front of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament rectory. Volunteers serve each Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., rain or shine. Volunteers must be 18-years old or older to serve with BBL.
Currently, volunteers are needed to serve on Wednesday, or Thursday, or Friday. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 7:00 a.m. and stay until 9:30 a.m. on the day they serve so that they can assist with preparation for service, service, and cleanup following service.
BBL service is rewarding and enjoyable so we hope that you will volunteer today!
