We are looking for a few handy men! We serve widows and widowers all over the Kansas City Metro area and often need some skilled hands and strong backs to help out!
We've done everything from helping out with simple chores and changing lightbubls to painting houses and installing garage doors! Experience would be appriciated but a good attitude and a desire to serve is required.
Drop us a line or give us a call. We always have opportunities and we can figure out where your availability and our opportunites intercent.
We are looking for 2-3 commited long term handy men but also anyone who might want to help regularly or even mobilize a group to help out on a monthly or weekly basis.

Description
Widow Wednesday is a 501c3 non-profit founded in 2012 by Jimmy Chouteau, with the goal of assisting widows and widowers in the Kansas City area. Our goal is to connect and build relationships with the widows in our community, sharing God’s love and care for them in visible, practical ways. Sometimes that looks like helping widows and widowers with small tasks they may no longer be able to manage or just spending some quality time with them. What started as one man’s idea and personal family project has grown into an organization of people committed to serving and pleading the cause of the widows near us. We believe that God has an especially tender and compassionate heart for those who have experienced heartache and loss and is committed to serving and loving them. And He has called all those who experience his love to do likewise. We are committed to equipping and empowering others to serve widows in their own lives alongside us. Widow Wednesday is more than an organization. It’s you and me, and the Body of Christ taking up a lifestyle of service in our every day, whether it be Wednesday or any other. Join us!
