Assist a Probation Officer in monitoring juvenile offenders and verifying compliance with court orders. Work directly with the assigned Probation Officer. Provide good, positive role modeling, while maintaining a professional demeanor. Maintain contact with youth, parents, outside agencies and schools, via telephone or in person, and report back to the Probation Office.

Description
The Pierce County Juvenile Court has exclusive juisdiction, as defined by RCW Title 13, over those juveniles within our community who violate the criminal laws of this state or who are in need of protection and advocacy as a result of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. The department is responsible for the effective administration of Juvenile Court, detention, intake/investigation, community supervision, dependency, diversion and adoption services.
