Glow 5k
All of the proceeds from the 5k will go to provide training, and job placement, for students with disabilities in the culinary arts field

This volunteer opportunity is sure to be unlike anything you have ever done before - and will be super fun. Our nonprofit organization is partnering with Howell High School's Interact Club to host a GLOW 5k walk/run. We are looking for volunteers who want to come and have FUN!! We are in need of energetic, fun, creative, spirited individuals, who want to come out and have fun spraying silly string on people, cheering walkers/runners on, etc.

We will need help setting up decorations along the route - we will have all the items and just need some hands to help hang lights in trees, put up signs, etc. During the race, we would love for volunteers to grab some silly string and spray kids, cheer people on as they walk/run the route, direct runners to make sure they stay on the right path, work prize zones, and to just help create a fun environment. We could also use some help with face painting if anyone has that skill and sticking glow in the dark tattoos on kids (and cool adults) prior to the race. If anyone happens to play a musical instrument or rap - we would also totally dig having live music along the route.

You don't have to like running to enjoy this event - in fact, one of the things we are stressing with this 5k is that EVERYONE is welcome and we are doing our best to make this a family friendly event.
