Help your immigrant and refugee neighbors learn English and improve their employment outcomes!
ESOL (English for Speakers of other Languages) teachers are urgently needed in Fredericksburg. Classes will be held on Monday and Tuesdays from 7:00- 8:30 PM, Classes being on Monday, October 2nd and end on Tuesday, December 12.The ideal candidate will have some background in teaching ESOL (volunteer or paid) and be able to commit to the whole semester, both nights per week.You will receive ample curriculum and resources, training, professional development, and additional support from Hogar staff throughout the semester.

Description

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington's Newcomer Services is made up of two departments - Hogar Immigrant Services and Migration and Refugee Services.
Hogar Immigrant Services responds to the Church’s call for social justice by welcoming the stranger to this country, regardless of ethnicity, religion, nationality, or ability to pay.
Migration and Refugee Services is one of 104 national affiliates of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Since its founding in 1975, the office has resettled and assisted over 30,000 refugees and asylees in the Northern Virginia community.
