The Texas State History Museum Foundation seeks an office volunteer to assist with its fundraising efforts. Duties include tasks such as data entry into donor database, stuffing envelopes, assembling solicitation packets, and assistance in putting on events. The foundation is a nonprofit that raises private funds and promotes statewide awareness to support the Bullock Texas State History Museum. Since its inception in 1999, the Foundation has raised approximately $21 million to support a variety of educational programs at the Bullock Museum and has provided school tour scholarships to more than 65,000 students from economically challenged schools. The Bullock Museum is the state's official history museum with 450,000 annual visitors who enjoy permanent galleries, 2 special exhibition halls, an IMAX and 4-D Theaters, and an array of educational programming for children and adults.
