Georgia Aquarium is seeking active military, retired military, and veterans to join our Military Volunteer Program! If you have a passion for aquatic life and a talent of working with people, we can use your skills. Join us in creating an aquarium experience that will entertain and educate millions of people each year.

Military volunteers will assist in following areas:

  • Service Projects - get involved in conservation projects throughout the community.
  • Gallery Interpretation - engaging people from all ages and places in learning about aquatic life.
  • Special Events - engaging guests in our Special Military Events and activities.
  • Guest Services - welcoming guests and assisting them with directions and general information about the Aquarium.

The first step in joining the Military Volunteer program is to visit our website: www.georgiaaquarium.org/militaryvolunteerprogram

On our website, you’ll be able to review our volunteer requirements, see our complete application process and submit an online application by clicking orange "apply here" button. Applications will be accepted until 6/6/17.

Once you have completed the online application and your interests and availability align with our current needs, you will be invited to attend an information session. At this session we will discuss areas to volunteer, benefits, and our volunteer uniform and hour requirements.
