Love meeting new people? Are you interested in learning more about fundraising, event planning, and marketing campaigns? Great! We are currently seeking Marketing & Development Interns.
Development and Administrative Interns will perform some or all of the following:
- Research corporate and foundation grants
- Help plan and execute fundraiser including Soiree and Trolley Tours
- Help implement and execute the end of year solicitation campaign
- Compose letters to donors and prospects on programs requiring funding
- Communicate with donors/volunteers (thank-you calls, correspondence)
- Assist with Associate Board projects
- Oversee/execute materials packing and shipment for initiatives
Learning Objectives
By the end of the internship, interns will:
- Gain an understanding of the various ways nonprofits can fundraise
- Know about donor stewardship
- Gain valuable professional experience
- Develop communication and problem-solving skills
- Understand how Green Star Movement fulfills its mission to inspire students and community members through the creation of public art
Requirements: Interns must commit to 16-18 hours per week for at least 8 weeks; Availability must be on weekdays between 8 am and 6 pm; be 18 years or older; have a passion for visual arts; feel comfortable working with youth; and have a strong work ethic.

Description
Since our founding in 2005, Green Star Movement has provided nearly 6000 students with mural arts programming and successfully transformed the interiors and exteriors of over 60 public spaces, including schools, parks, community centers, and thoroughfares.
