ORGANIZATION: WildCare

Teach kids to love nature.Volunteer at WildCare!

High school students ages 14 - 18 will work with our Summer Camp teachers to provide fun and exciting nature and wildlife experiences for younger campers. You will help with craft projects, hikes, and games, and gain valuable experience working with children while earning community service hours. This program is designed for students aged 14 to 18 years old who enjoy nature, wildlife and working with children.

WildCare Wildlife Camps operate from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, although Volunteer Assistants would be required to work from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The majority of camp is held on site at WildCare, but two days are spent at various hiking sites around Marin County. Transportation is not provided. Students may request to work at as many camps as they would like.

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE DUE DATE (April 28, 2017).

Estamos buscando estudiantes de preparatoria (de 14 a 18 años) para que nos ayuden en el campamento de verano WildCare. Nuestros campamentos se enfocan en actividades educativas y divertidas diseñadas para que los niños aprendan acerca de la naturaleza. Voluntarios adolescentes ayudaran con proyectos manuales, caminatas, y juegos. Además, obtendrán experiencia muy valiosa en como trabajar con niños y al mismo tiempo pueden completar horas de servicio comunitario.

Los Campamentos Vida Silvestre en el Verano de WildCare funcionan de lunes a viernes de las 9 am. a las 3 pm. Los voluntarios adolescentes trabajan de las 8:30 am hasta las 3:30 pm. La mayor parte del campamento ocurre en WildCare, sin embargo al menos 2 días de la semana las actividades ocurren en parques ecológicos cercanos. No proveemos transportación para los voluntarios. Estudiantes interesados pueden solicitar más de una sesión.
