The Washington Park Arboretum will be hosting an Earth Day Restoration Event! The Student Conservation Association, Arboretum Foundation and University of Washington Botanic Gardens is hosting an event to give back to public lands, join us to serve at the Washington Park Arboretum.

WHEN: April 21st from 9am-1pm. Snacks, coffee, gloves and tools will be provided. There will be an after party from 1- 2pm with music, giveaways, and a food truck onsite for volunteers to purchase lunch!

WHAT: Volunteers will restore the Washington Park Arboretum through planting, mulching, removing invasive species, and maintaining trails throughout the arboretum.

WHERE: Washington Park Arboretum, 2300 Arboretum Drive East, Seattle, WA 98112. (#43 or #48 bus to 24th Ave East at Lynn Street.) Meet at Crabapple Meadow just south of the Graham Visitor Center.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, preferably work boots or sturdy sneakers, and bring a reusable water bottle. Event will take place rain or shine so please dress appropriately for the weather!

There will be an After-Party back at the meadow at 1pm! Movin' 92.5 will bring their mobile music van to crank some tunes, Brew Dr. Kombucha will be giving away free samples, Dante's Inferno Dog food truck onsite for volunteers to purchase lunch, and we will have some giveaways of great things from the Arboretum.
