It is time to apply to the Bernalillo County Master Naturalist Program, which only happens once a year! This award winning program provides an excellent opportunity to participate in conserving, preserving and restoring the local environment. The Open Space program offers something for everyone from young children and families who want to get outdoors to adults who want to learn more about the local environment and history.
Description
A great way to get involved and give back to the community is by volunteering. Bernalillo County Open Space staff is fortunate to work with dedicated and passionate partners and volunteers. Through their hard work and assistance, the county is able to effectively manage the Open Space properties natural resources, develop interpretive and educational material and provide meaningful events and activities for the public.
