Granny’s Place Ministries provide educational mentoring and outreach programs which seek to be a servant to the community. Currently we are looking for a dedicated intern interested in learning and their ability to work with diverse groups in the community. Interns will learn how to use assessment tools, analyze data and work independently on social media campaigns.

Duties/Responsibilities:

+Maintain all social media accounts

+Assist director with update on posting events, community news and food outlets.

+Creative in posting clients whose applications need additional information

+Maintain President's calendar

+Assist with administrative duties as needed

+Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

+High School diploma/GED required

+Organizational skills and attention to detail

+Written and verbal communication skills

+Experience with social media and use of computer

Length of Commitment:

At least 2 semesters or 8 weeks in the summer

Schedule: Flexible schedule for 10 to 25 hours per week between Monday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Tutoring takes place Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 pm and/or 4:30pm to 6:30 pm. Volunteers can come in every day or once/twice a week.

High school or college students may use opportunity as a community service credit.
