Great Lakes Caring Hospice, a leading care provider in the Midwest, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.
Volunteers are needed to visit with patients and engage them in activities such as playing music or singing, working on a craft project or sharing a special talent, or simply providing companionship through listening, talking, or holding a hand.
They often provide respite care, allowing family members and caregivers to take a much-needed break. There are also volunteer opportunities within the Great Lakes Caring Hospice office assisting staff with mailings, filing, computer work, and other special projects. .
Great Lakes Caring is also looking for pet therapy volunteers. Those volunteers and their trained and certified therapy dog companions visit patients who miss the special relationship they had with their own pets.
Volunteer Opportunities are currently available in the greater Monroe area. If you are interested in being a Companion Volunteer, visiting with a Veteran, helping with various events, working in our office, or making a difference in another way, please contact me directly at email@example.com and check us out at www.GreatLakesCaring.com.
