The volunteer will conduct a set of customer service tasks to maximize the customer/patient experience.
Primary responsibilities will include: to greet visitors as they enter the hospital, provide visitor’s badges, escort new visitors to designated locations within the hospital, maintain the resource center bookshelves adequately stocked and organized, ensure computers are functioning properly, organize materials for community events and conduct service rounds on patients . The volunteer will have a good understanding of the location of different departments and the floors set up. Volunteers will express respect and kindness, demonstrate great customer service skills and behave in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications:
- Good verbal and written English language skills
- Great listening skills and an ability to follow instructions
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in teams and independently
- Comply with volunteer dress code
- 2-4 hour shifts may be scheduled Monday-Friday between 9:00 am-5:00 pm
