Mission Statement

Alliance is a faith-led medical ministry serving working uninsured adults in Wake County in need of affordable, quality healthcare. We believe in treating our patients' mind, body, and spirit through medical care and garden and wellness programs.

Description

Alliance Medical Ministry, founded in 2000, is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable corporation. Clinic doors first opened on January 6, 2003, with a mission to provide affordable medical care to low income, uninsured working adults in Wake County. Located just steps from the renowned WakeMed Hospital, at 101 Donald Ross Drive in Raleigh, Alliance operates like any other private doctor's office. Board certified physicians provide general primary care to patients who pay a small fee. The fee covers time with a physician, any necessary lab work or x-rays, most medications, and health education. Alliance links with many community partners to provide the highest quality, comprehensive treatment available.

The comprehensive care provided includes chronic and acute medical care, preventative care, health education, laboratory testing, on-site pharmacy, and referrals for specialty care. Alliance is supported through generous donations from individuals, corporations, congregations and foundations to serve the working uninsured in our community.
