Join Team OUT Miami volunteers for a Day of Service on Saturday, April 1st to benefit YES Institute, which educates thousands of people a year in gender and orientation. YES is an essential community organization with a mission to prevent suicide and ensure the healthy development of our youth.
This project will involve painting, organizing and beautifying, so be prepared for a lot of fun!
This and other Days of Service during the year represent an important component of our Strategic Partner program that aims to support and build capacity among Miami LGBT nonprofit organizations.
YES Institute Extreme Makeover details:
* Saturday, April 1
* 11a.m.-3p.m.
* 5275 Sunset Dr. Miami, FL 33143
* We will have 5 teams: storage clean up, painting, shredding, signage keep up, and cleaning.
* All supplies will be provided.
* Dress for mess! (It is unlikely that every drop of paint will end up on the wall!)
* Lunch will be provided

We are a 501c(3) not-for-profit charitable organization whose mission is to build an engaged, philanthropic LGBT community in the Greater Miami Area.

MOBILIZING HUNDREDS OF VOLUNTEERS through our Team OUT Miami program, where LGBT people can volunteer with LGBT-serving organizations, participate in our OUT Miami Days of Service, or volunteer as a group in the Greater Miami area with charities addressing community issues such as homelessness, education, and youth.
