Lynn counting and sorting book donations at Teachers' Supply Closet

Teachers' Supply Closet is in need of a retired librarian or any person who has been trained in library sciences to help organize our books section. Individuals should possess a love of books and have insight/experience in arranging books by student reading level and by subject matter. Our Library Expert will train all volunteers. Training will take place Monday - Wednesday mornings (you choose which days are best for you) at Teachers' Supply Closet. Once trained, you may choose which days/hours work best for your schedule for volunteering. Being available to help on free teacher shopping afternoons (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 - 6:30 beginning in late August or early September of 2017) is a MUST for this volunteer opportunity. Teachers "shop" through our books for their classrooms and we need to be able to offer each teacher the very best books for their area of teaching! Opportunities are not available on weekends.
