The 9th Annual Art of Brooklyn Film Festival is looking for volunteers to join our festival staff!
We have 3 positions available and shifts are generally about 4-5 hours.
1) Ushers/Runners - You’re the real MVP! Our ushers/runners are our go-to people for anything and everything that comes up.
2) Ticketing - You’ll run our ticketing app at our venues and sell tickets and check people in.
3)Merch - You’ll sell festival swag to our guests.
Please email Stef(at)theartofbrooklyn.org if you are interested! We will be having an Orientation Meeting at St Francis College May 25th time TBD.
Please note that all of these positions require you to be able to travel to and work on-site in Brooklyn, particularly Brooklyn Heights, Bay Ridge, and Clinton Hill. This is an unpaid position, however, when you are not working a shift you are free to attend any screening or event that you’d like, as well as our opening night party!

Mission Statement
Founded in 2011, AoBFF is the ONLY international, independent festival in the world devoted to Brooklyn’s vibrant film and media scene. We accept films from all over, as long as they are connected to the borough in some way. We are also the only indie film festival to build and program our own video-on-demand streaming platform: Brooklyn On Demand, where we broadcast festival favorites, original series and more, online and on a Roku channel with over 10,000 subscribers. AoBFF is a creative hub, platform and showcase for independent film and media makers in Brooklyn and around the world. We partner with film distributors and media organizations, host world-class talkbacks, and create innovative programming for networking and skill building. And we screen in state-of-the-art theaters for enthusiastic audiences across Brooklyn. We believe that film festivals exist for filmmakers, not the other way around.
Description
Founded in 2011, The Art of Brooklyn is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization that curates a conversation between the new, Brooklyn-based art community, immigrants, transplants and those born and raised in the borough. We produce the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival and Brooklyn On Demand.
