ACTS offers a Vet 2 Vet program where the ACTS Helpline uses Military veterans who can be trained to call veterans who may be shut in or disabled.
We are currently seeking Veterans willing to volunteer (at your convenience) between the hours of 8AM-8PM for our new Vet 2 Vet helpline.
You will be given specialized training but will reach out to veterans via phone that need a sympathy ear and who can relate to some of their experiences.

Description
ACTS provides an emergency homeless shelter, emergency food; financial assistance; domestic violence prevention/intervention programs; two safe-houses; transitional housing; sexual assault victims advocacy services, 24-hr crisis hotline; and a thrift store.
