We are looking for volunteers to do case management in our office in Dublin. Volunteers will answer incoming calls for assistance from all over the Tri-Valley. There is no one type of call as each is different based on the needs of the caller. We receive calls asking for assistance with rent/food/etc., calls from schools notifying us of students in need, and calls from other organizations that have people in need. We provide direct assistance where we can and direct callers to human service organizations that can assist if we cannot.
We will train volunteers on how to respond to calls, how to fill out the appropriate forms, and how to enter information into our computer system.
We are growing volunteer based non-profit filling the needs of the underserved in the Tri-Valley. We received over 400 referrals in 2016 which is up from previous years.
