T-Ball/Sluggers Super Coach
ORGANIZATION: Boys & Girls Clubs of King County
Please visit the new page to apply.
Are you energetic? Are you outgoing? Do you like baseball and softball? Do you work well with young kids? Our Little League is looking for a Super Coach! Three days a week we host clinic practices for our "Sluggers" and "T-Ball" teams. The super coach facilitates those t-ball and machine pitch clinics.
As the Super Coach you set up the field, coach the coaches on the day’s drills, keep practice on time, teach the kids, make sure everyone is having a good time and clean up when the day is done.
Clinics are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from approximately 4:30-7:30pm. The season is about 10 weeks long (Early April to Mid-June). Some administrative time is required (sending some emails), but that doesn’t take longer than an hour a week. A more detailed schedule will be provided to those who apply.
An ideal candidate should have a decent understanding of baseball/softball, but you do not have to be an expert. The curriculum is complete; your job is to put it into action each week. It is way more important that you always have a smile on your face, you interact well with the kids and their families, and you are excited about the program.
Please email a Resume, two references and outline any baseball/softball experience you have.
