Read to Thrive is a non-profit organization with a mission of creating a passion for reading in children. We believe that reading is a gateway to better life.
We have been conducting a book club for 1st & 2nd grade children at Hillview Branch Library in San Jose for the past year. Our volunteer is moving out of the area for school so we are looking for a new volunteer (preferably bilingual-English/Spanish). Our timings are flexible. If you are interested, please contact us for more details!
Volunteering for this program can take as little as two hours a month or as much time as you like. Read to Thrive is looking for volunteers who are passionate about reading and willing to commit a minimum of 30 hours over the course of the next year. You can make a difference by volunteering!
